In an age when our daily lives are characterized by pressure-packed schedules, a day of retreat invites us to soul-nurturing rest. Jesus said, "I will give you rest," and he is eager to do just that (Matthew 11:28). A retreat renews us as we experience solitude and play at a slower rhythm to allow God more space to interact with us. BBB hosts two retreats each year -- one in the spring, one in the fall. We will get started at about 6:00 on Friday evening and usually finish up around 1 pm on Saturday. You'll enjoy good food, fellowship with old and new friends, praise and worship, and quality time with Jesus ... all in a setting made for relaxation and time away from the demands of your everyday routine.
Please keep in mind that our guest speakers and/or musicians are not paid by Blessed Beyond Belief, so there will be an opportunity to provide a "Love Offering" for these servants of God as they share so unselfishly with us during this weekend. There is also a merchandise table where you may purchase BBB items, as well as items brought in by our guests as a means of supporting their ministries. As you financially support Blessed Beyond Belief and these other ministries, you are supporting Kingdom work -- preparing the way of the Lord in another person's life. What a blessing!!
Blessed Beyond Belief's 2019 Fall Retreat
November 8, 2019 from 6 pm 'til 10 pm
November 9, 2019 from 8 am 'til 2 pm
Timberline Camp & Conference Center / 15363 FM 849 / Lindale, TX 75771 / 903-882-3183
When we turn the pages in a book, we will see the story gradually change. So it is in life and in ministry. When we began to plan for this retreat, God intervened and allowed us the opportunity to make connections with other women chasing after His heart ... and they just happened to be making reservations at Timberline for the same weekend as our fall retreat! The only thing to do: combine our retreats! In November, you will be a part of pioneering a movement in East Texas as we join with First Baptist Church Winona to worship Jesus - not as separate ministries, separate women's groups, or separate churches - but as ONE BODY, united under ONE NAME.
The name that is above all ... who loves us, who is there on the best days and there on the worst days. And, we all have those: the "worst" days, filled with "Trials" & heartache, hurts and temptations, complications and setbacks. Jesus never said it would be easy, but the Word of God gives us clear instruction on how to make it through the tough times. This weekend, we will dive into the Word and learn just exactly what it takes to be set free from the tendency to be on this emotional roller coaster we tend to ride when we feel like the burden is just too much to bear.
Both teams have put much prayer and planning into this retreat and we are so excited about making new friends! Don't miss it!!
My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. James 1:2-3
