When former President, Gina Bauman, founded Blessed Beyond Belief Women’s Ministry in the year 2000, she had a mission. She wanted women from all backgrounds and all walks of life to come together and realize their role as a woman in Jesus Christ. She wanted women to not only be encouraged and refreshed in the Holy Spirit, but she wanted them to grow in their faith and find their own spiritual calling. Through this
ministry, homes have been built up, families have been mended, marriages have been saved, people have come to know Jesus, and ministries have been born.
Gina was a passionate and loving woman, even if that meant bluntly telling you the truth. She did this with love and people knew it. Anyone who knew her knew she was deeply in love with Jesus Christ. On December 20th, 2018, she joined her love in heaven.
“If the Lord takes me home because of this battle,” Gina told us, “don’t you dare say that I lost my battle to cancer.” The truth is she didn’t lose that
During Gina’s memorial service, her preacher spoke from one of her journals. In this journal, she wrote about how God has entrusted us with EVERYTHING in our lives. It is up to us what we do with the gifts God has given us. This verse sticks out to me:
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
This was Gina’s belief and a belief that carries into the ministry of Blessed Beyond Belief. God has blessed us with our families, our careers, our spouses, our children, our homes, our health, and our lives. In Gina’s journals, she many times thanked the Lord for waking up that morning. No matter what we go through in our lives and what trials we face, we are indeed blessed beyond belief.
